Tap into your inner superhero and grab your shield: the Inaugural HERO-THON Half Marathon Series Powered by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is happening this winter!
LLS has run Team In Training (TNT),the world’s biggest and most successful endurance sports training program for the past 24 years and is now sponsoring its own endurance series.
The HERO-THON Half Marathon kicks off in San Antonio, TX, and is open to runners and walkers of all abilities.
The route will start at the Alamodome in San Antonio and course through some of San Antonio’s famous landmarks like the River Walk, the Alamo and downtown San Antonio culminating in a finish line festival back at the Alamodome.
It promises to be an exciting weekend!
HERO-THON San Antonio is all about unleashing your superpowers because each of us has within us a set of powers we call upon to help us accomplish what might otherwise seem insurmountable.
Some of us run to help beat cancer, honor a loved one touched by cancer, or celebrate our own victory over cancer. Whatever the motivation, we all have the potential to be a superhero!
